Skimming through news and celebrities worthy of blogging, I suddenly remembered and bumped into this video. This is one of my favorite moments in American Idol 5 season finale. A good blessing to Michael, and Clay's the eternal singer.
Here's the lyrics of the song:
I can't light no more of your darkness All my pictures seem to fade to black and white I'm growing tired and time stands still before me Frozen here on the ladder of my life
It's much too late to save myself from falling I took a chance and changed your way of life But you misread my meaning when I met you Closed the door and left me blind by the light
Oh, Don't let the sun go down on me, yeah Although I search myself, there's always someone else I see I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free, yeah Because losing everything feels like the sun going down on me
I can't find, oh, the right romantic line But see me once and see the way I feel Don't discard me, oh, just because you think I mean you harm But these cuts I have, they need love to help them heal
Oh, Don't let the sun go down on me, yeah Although I search myself, there's always someone else I see I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free, yeah Because losing everything is like the sun going down on me
Don't let the sun go down on me Although I search myself, there's always someone else I see I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free, yeah Because losing everything is like the sun going down on me, On me.
The night's pretty much what I wanted: quiet. Just went out to dinner, along with such good company, and then sat down in front of my PC and surf all the way (yup, the same boring stuff domesticated people [ehem] do). Anyway, I first saw this Kate Moss hologram video in some fashion blog. Love it!
While also checking out my list of mp3's (something I could use as a background for my Friendster account as I opt to give it a pimp), I randomly selected this song called Dream Walking. UNFORTUNATELY, I can't find its full lyrics or even the singer. Tsk... tsk...
